How to rip Blu-ray movies to Nook Tablet?

I wonder if the Nook Tablet is able to play "movies" digital copies, I own several Blu-Ray movies that have a digital copy for free and I really would like to transfer Blu-ray movie to Nook Tablet, I want to get the Nook Tablet but I don't see the point in getting a tablet if I am able to play DVD Blu-ray on Nook Tablet, Any help?
