They will download a trial version of the software first and if they are satisfied with the program, they will purchase it by clicking the Buy link in the software. Because the Buy link in our RegNow custom build file is embedded with your affiliate ID, RegNow tracks your sales giving you the opportunity to increase your sales by providing the direct download trial versions of our software.

How to create a RegNow custom build for trial downloads?

For Windows Software

You may choose to host Trial Downloads on your site by downloading the file and placing it on your server (your affiliate ID will automatically be inserted) or you may post the trial download link on your site and allow RegNow to host the download. When having RegNow host a trial download, your affiliate ID will be dynamically inserted as the download takes place.

Locate the hosted URL within the RegNow interface. Do Name Search by simply entering "Doremisoft" on your RegNow affiliate control panel. Once you identify any Doremisoft product click "View". A "Relationship Detail" box will pop up and you can choose the "Sales Links" tab to locate all Buy and Trial links. In this way, hosted URL will automatically provide you with the latest version and trial build.

Host on your own site

1) Identify the trial download using the steps above. Rather than posting the URL you can download the file and host on your own site.

2) Download products at our site first, and then rename them. For example, suppose that your affiliate ID is 88888, and you want to build custom version of Doremisoft Video to Flash Converter. Pease first download Doremisoft Video to Flash Converter, then rename DoremiSoftVideoToFlashConverter1.0.1_trial.exe as DoremiSoftVideoToFlashConverter1.0.1_trial-rxxxxx.exe. Then your custom version is generated and you can upload it to your server.

For Mac Software

Create custom version by renaming

The Mac Software trial downloads do not have an affiliate wrapper in RegNow. However, you are able to make custom build for our Mac products at any time by renaming the file name. For example, suppose that your affiliate ID is 88888, and you want to build custom version of Doremisoft Video to Flash Converter for Mac. First download Doremisoft Video to Flash Converter for Mac, and then rename DoremisoftVideotoFlashConverterForMacTrial1.0.1.dmg as DoremisoftVideotoFlashConverterForMacTrial1.0.1(regnow-88888).dmg. Then your custom version is generated and you can host it to your server. In this way, you can create custom builds that are specific to your RegNow ID by hardcoding this information within the trial "Buy" link.
