1. "I want to copy my own videos to the kindle fire. I tried ripping it with handbrake to m4v an mp4. Neither has worked. Anyone know how to convert video for the fire?"

2. I tried copying the .mp4 video to the Video Folder on the fire, but it wont show up.
"I have a quick question. I have been copying a few of my digital copies of movies over to the Amazon Cloud so I can access them from my Fire. I have 1 that is 2GB and it wont let them upload to the cloud since its over the limit (it says files 2GB and under). Can I still get this movie on my Fire by bypassing the cloud? I know the Fire is only 8GB but I am only planning on keeping a few movies on there along with my books. Thanks! I tried copying the .mp4 video to the Video Folder on the fire, but it wont show up."

Any a friend like to save time would appreciate to copy files to Kindle Fire directly, of course we admit Cloud is a good thing for sync so much free movies, music is right Kindle Fire formats to Kindle Fire for our accessing from the Internet. But when meet above question, we must take the special way to solve it, you can take this way to make it played on Kindle Fire:

"Has to be in .mp4 or .3gp format. Upload via USB to Movies folder on the Fire, access using Gallery app, or download ES File Explorer app and go to the Movie folder directly. They do NOT appear in the Videos tab from the Home page."

After I transferred a 450mb mp4 file directly from My Documents on my computer to the Kindle and it didn't matter where I tried to put it or where it said it was when I explored the Fire's contents when plugged into my computer, they both showed up in the Gallery app.

So this will help us a lot who like directly copy files to Kindle Fire, and we know Kindle Fire supported video format is actually unique one---Mp4, what if other formats like MKV, WMV, AVI, Xvid, MOV, DV, VOB etc you want to play it on Kindle like the above way.
