Part 1: Convert video
1. Install and run the Doremisoft Video Converter for Mac
2. Click "Add File" on the top panel to add the video(s) you want to convert. Click the small right arrow to preview the imported video.
3. Select the output format in the drop-down list, when click the "Profile" button. If you intend to further editing output video in iMovie app, choose "iMovie video". For example, you can select the specific video formats like "iMovie MPEG-4 H.264(AVC) video format".
Part 2: Personalize video (Optional)
Clip video: Press "Clip" button, you can divide the input video into segment(s) in the pop-up window.
Edit video: Hit "Edit" button to go to the editing settings under these two options: "Crop" and "Effect". With these two options, you can alter the screen size, get rid of black edge, highlight some parts, alter video brightness, contrast and saturation and more.
Now, if you have done the above steps, you can go to the final step-Hit "START" to begin the conversion. Also, you can choose the "Shut down your Mac when conversion is finished", when you do the conversion while you sleep.
