FCE - Final Cut Express is an easier Mac video editing application than Final Cut Pro, and many professionals and also beginners are using Final Cut Express to do video editing on Mac. FCE supports pretty much the same video formats as iMovie, including MOV, DV, MP4, HDV etc. WMV has become a quite common HD video format, if you want to edit WMV on Mac with FCE, you will need a WMV to FCE Converter, because WMV is obviously not supported by FCE.
